Why not? While there are some who are naturally gifted and can think in an unconventional way. But it is not impossible to train your mind to think is a way that results in a unique form that not many can think of.

As children, all of us are naturally creative, but with time many of us do not continue to make use of this skill which eventually blunts out. But again, creativity is a skill that can always be developed again.

All of us are born with a natural creative bent of mind. We only stop using it and it eventually ceases to be. However, it is not impossible to train your mind to think in an unconventional and creative way. But the key here is to keep practising.

Training your mind to be creative is very much like learning a new sport. You have to continue practising to get good at it. Just knowing how it is done is not it.

Explore and Experiment

The first and foremost step towards training your mind to get more creative is to have an open mind. You need to be ready to see different things and never fear experiments.

If you do not explore and experiment with new ways of thinking or working, you will be stuck with nothing but the conventional thought process.

Learn to explain

Being able to explain things is a clear way is also crucial. Some of the biggest creative thinkers of the world were creative people who needed to explain their unconventional thought process to the rest.

You may have immense knowledge about a field or have some bright ideas, but if these ideas are not successfully transferred to others, it is practically wasted.

Don’t stop the questions

We are in an era where one is able to gain access to any and every kind of information all thanks to the internet. While this is a convenient way to work, it has also unfortunately made up accept things as they are.

If you wish to be a creative thinker, you need to come up with questions. Every new question will enrich you, open gates to more knowledge and also see the opinions of others on any given topic.

Being creative is not a destination but is an ongoing process. The more you work towards it. The better you get at it.
